Granite: durability, refinement and beauty.
Granite is the most common of the magnetic rocks found in rocky masses of great proportions. Its colors vary according to the amount of feldspar contained and can be reddish, yellowish or pink. Quartz, alkali feldspar and mica, give the granite a hardness far superior to other materials, such as marble, for example, which is more porous and less resistant. This property makes the granite more scratch resistant, harder and more resistant to chemicals. Another advantage of granite is that this material absorbs less water and do not stain easily. Therefore, granite is ideal for high-traffic environments and for the use in the kitchen, bathroom or living room.
